OSA usually means that it is present a mechanical obstruction to the air passage, because of that, the airway must be evaluated to identify the local obstruction. It is important recognize if is in one level or as usually, a multilevel obstruction.

We have several diagnostic exams, but recently Drug Induced Sleep Endoscopy (DISE) is the gold standard for diagnosis. OSA therapeutics should be individualized with collaboration of patient himself, being the CPAP the gold standard. Other therapeutics measures should be taken into account.
