COURSE PRESENTATION
The purpose of this course is to give orthopaedic surgeons the highest level of diagnostic, and treatment modalities to deal with fractures, rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, degenerative problems and complex shoulder pathologies using state of the art shoulder arthroscopy or open procedures. Bringing together expert faculty, course content focuses on known best practice, latest technological advances, and evidence-based research related to shoulder care.

Surgical skills will be developed on the cadaver labs under faculty supervision.
The final goal of the course is to improve assessment and management of shoulder disorders in the clinical setting.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Orthopaedic surgeons with special interest in developing skills on shoulder surgery.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES >> KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO DEVELOP
  1. To improve practice and outcomes of shoulder pathology namely fractures, rotator cuff ruptures, shoulder instability, omarthrosis and complex shoulder problems such as irreparable rotator cuff tears, failure of rotator cuff repair and failure of shoulder instability shoulder repair.
  2. To discuss evidenced-based techniques in order to identify options for the treatmen of complex shoulder disorders using state of the art surgical techniques and use of appropriate technology.
  3. To develop surgical skills

Preference will be given to orthopaedic surgeons members of international scientific societies
